2. Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Program
Our Victim Empowerment Program offers psycho-social counselling to survivors of GBV and abuse.
• Outreach events for prevention and education.
• Community dialogues to challenge harmful norms and promote safety.
1. Free Counselling
We provide accessible counselling services to bridge the gap between overwhelmed public services and unaffordable private care.
• Approach: Person-Centered Counselling Model
• Focus Areas: Trauma debriefing, bereavement, GBV and abuse, rape, suicide, depression, anxiety, addiction, couples counselling, group debriefing, and supervision.
• Reach: Face-to-face and virtual sessions, serving clients across South Africa.
3. HIV & Health Screening Services
We provide mobile HIV testing and counselling, TB screening, blood sugar and blood pressure checks, and STI screening.
• Daily outreach in Johannesburg, targeting individuals who avoid clinics due to stigma or access barriers.
• Focus on reaching key populations and under-served communities.
Social Justice & Environmental Commitment
Empowerment Hub recognises that health and social justice are deeply connected to environmental well-being.
• We integrate climate action and environmental awareness into our programmes, linking ecological sustainability with community health.
• Our advocacy highlights structural injustices rooted in inequality, gender bias, and environmental neglect.
• We promote community-led solutions that build resilience against both social and ecological challenges.
